Gavin Smith is professional writer, with eleven published novels as well as a number of short stories and novellas. As well as prose work he has optioned a number of feature-length screenplays and written for the computers games industry. He is currently researching the ‘secularisation’ (ala: Charles Taylor) of speculative fiction. Part of this research involves looking at fictional depictions of violence.
